Maintain.

You are currently at your ideal level of overall health.  You are satisfied with who you are and focused on continuing a plan that fits your goals and your lifestyle.  This includes being consistent with exercise and healthy decisions that allows you to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Improve.

Being aware of the need to better yourself in areas of your life.  This includes striving for a goal or goals that impacts one’s confidence, encouraging a positive outlook, and becoming the best version of yourself. This can be attained through exercising, proper nutrition, healthy relationships, as well as other healthy decisions.

Perform.

This can be in relation to sports, events, or individual goals.  This can be accomplished through performance training which can include sport specific conditioning, strength endurance, flexibility, stability, and maximal strength.

Tom Stagner

My name is Tom Stagner.  I have a passion for fitness and helping others. I have been married to my wife for 19 years and we have a 11 year old daughter and 8 year old son. 

My goal is to assist others with their health and fitness goals by implementing 3 common FUNCTIONS that I have observed over the years for working out:  Maintain, Improve and Perform.     

Personal Trainer Credentials:

  • Earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation, Sport and Park Administration with a Health and Wellness emphasis from Missouri State University. 

  • Close to 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry as a manager, personal trainer, group exercise instructor and sports conditioning. 

  • Experience managing fitness and wellness programs in the corporate industry, higher education, and nonprofit sector. 

  • NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer

  • NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist

  • NASM Youth Exercise Specialist

  • CPR/First Aid certified

  • Former college basketball player and currently owner/head coach of a youth basketball program.
